Slanging Ink Tattoo is a dedicated studio on North Milpas Street in the heart of Santa Barbara. We've built our reputation on one principle: your skin deserves better than a rushed job.
Every artist in our chair approaches each piece with the same seriousness — clean lines, proper depth, and a respect for how tattoo ink ages on living skin. We use only single-use needles, barrier-wrapped equipment, and FDA-approved inks.
A straightforward process designed to make your first visit stress-free and your final result exactly what you imagined.
Call us or send an email with your idea, placement, and size. We'll respond within 24 hours to discuss feasibility and availability.
Meet in the studio or hop on a video call. We refine the concept, pick the placement, and agree on a timeline and deposit.
Show up relaxed. We handle the rest — stencil, prep, and careful execution at your pace. Breaks are built in, water and snacks are on us.
You'll leave with written aftercare instructions and a scheduled touch-up. Your ink should look sharp at six weeks, not just day one.
I walked in nervous about my first tattoo and left feeling like I'd been in good hands the entire time. The attention to detail was incredible — the final piece looks exactly like the design we planned.
They did a cover-up on a tattoo I'd regretted for years. I honestly couldn't tell the difference between the new piece and something I'd gotten fresh. Best decision I made all year.
Clean studio, professional setup, and the artist actually listened instead of pushing something I didn't want. That's rare. I'll be coming back for my next piece for sure.
Walk-ins are welcome during open hours, but we recommend booking ahead to secure your preferred time slot.
